Upcoming Spreadable Media Events
- Co-author Henry Jenkins will participate in a webinar on Jan. 21st for the MacArthur Foundation’s Connected Learning initiative, entitled “Spreading Your Story: How Do You Develop Strategies to Circulate Your Story to the Desired Audience?” Participants, alongside a range of experts on activism and social change, as part of Connected Learning’s “Storytelling and Digital-Age Civics” series.
- Co-author Henry Jenkins will present “Democracy and Diversity in the Era of Spreadable Media” at the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Guadalajara campus on March 19th.
- Co-author Sam Ford will take part in a workshop on March 22nd entitled “Rethinking Networked Culture, Media Audiences, and Media Content Through Spreadable Media” at the Society for Cinema & Media Studies annual conference in Seattle. The session will be chaired by DePaul University’s Paul Booth and will also include project contributors Xiaochang Li, Abigail De Kosnik, Ted Hovet, and Sharon Ross.
